2005 Achievement Wales Business Award Winners: E-Commerce Solutions

The Global Travel Group has been awarded the prestigious Opportunity Wales E-Commerce Award at the 11th annual Achievement Wales Business Awards 2004. The Global Travel Group was selected as the best example of a business that has innovatively used e-commerce to have a measurable impact in enhancing business performance.

The gala dinner and awards ceremony held on 19 November 2004 celebrated North Wales businesses that have shown demonstrable development for the Welsh economy. The Daily Post reported a record number of entries received this year and finalists included high profile businesses such as BHP Billiton and telecommunication giant BT.

The Global Travel Group was nominated for its latest innovation Global Travel Web which presents its members with the ability to go head to head with some of the largest e-commerce players in the travel industry and provide a quick route to market.
